Maintaining Your Floors

 

Make sure that your floors are as beautiful as possible by maintaining them properly. Follow the steps below to achieve this goal!

  • 00-refinishing-xHardwood Floors: First, determine whether your floors have a polyurethane finish.
    • With a Polyurethane Finish: Clean your floors periodically using water.
    • Without a Polyurethane Finish: These floors need to be re-waxed with liquid or paste “spirit” wax.
  • alkfna;djsnfadfadfasdfasdfasdfasdfaVinyl Flooring: Vinyl floors need to be re-waxed using water emulsion wax.
  • Concrete Flooring: Keep concrete flooring clean by using concrete sealer and by washing it using a solution of four to six tablespoons of washing soda in a gallon of hot water. Use scouring powder if it is an extremely tough job.
  • Carpeting: Carpets should be cleaned at least once every twelve months, more if it is a high traffic area.
