Eliminate the painful bidding process

If you’ve been in your home for any length of time, like we have, home repairs become inevitable. With wear and tear come the responsibility of deciding whether to DIY or hire a local home repairman to tend to your house. Aging is not limited to us humans, and just like us–parts of the house start to show their aging and use and succumb to the harshness of the elements. When that happens, repair becomes unavoidable.

Choices: DIY or contractor

Unless you are a professional carpenter–or super talented—don’t get bogged down in the idea that DIY is cheaper. Your cheap fix could end up a mistake that has to be redone, or even worse an expensive fix to something that could have been done for less. Think about this: if you don’t know anything about computers, you’re probably not going to try to fix a broken computer. Likewise, if you don’t know anything about fixing things around the house—it might be smart to step off and let a professional handle the job.
You have choices to make, and you are wise to think them through. If you’ve been around the block a time or two, you’ve likely heard multiple times that it is best to get at least three bids when hiring for a repair project. Moreover, it makes sense, because we all want to make sure that the person we hire measures up to the job when hiring someone to do work in our house.

Collecting bids

This is where we come in—unless you want to wait around your house for days on end collecting bids from multiple contractors. Yeah, we didn’t think so. We wouldn’t want to do that either.
Home Project Helpers can eliminate the need to take multiple days off work when you’re trying to get a home project set up. All you have to do is bid your own project, or have us do the work for you. It doesn’t get much easier or better than that. Think about it—a smooth process that brings the bids to you, while you go on with your busy life—wouldn’t that make things so much easier?
